This was the date that I found out you felt the same way I did. I still remember what I was doing at the time and how it felt. It was a night a lot like this one, where I sat in bed coding mindlessly to pass the time... My world stopped turning for a moment.
For as long as I could remember I was disconnected from the world. It felt like I was in a glass cage. You can put your hand up to mine, align our palms, and I'd feel nothing. That changed when I met you.
All of the turmoil, all of the misfortune, every effort I've felt went unrewarded feels worth it because you're here. I feel lucky simply to be alive at the same time as you, and even luckier that you love me. Even more so that I have the chance to love you.
I love you and you alone. Whatever happens, whatever has happened, I love you. You're the one for me. I want no other. I'm happy you're alive. I'm happy we're alive together. I'll eternally be yours.
